I don't know of anywhere in the world that foster parents are not needed. There is neglect and abuse in all cultures and in all classes of society. Children cannot remain at home if they are at risk and that's where the foster parents come in. If you are interested in children and want to make a difference in their lives, GET INVOLVED!! Call, visit, or write the organization in your area that administers a foster parenting program. Usually it is a government agency but it could be a privately run system.
If you are interested in kids but don't want to be a foster parent...don't despair. There are a lot of organizations in your area that would welcome volunteers or contributions. Check out your community...ask what you can do! The children need YOU!

I don't know...I must be missing something...I like eating all the cookies and drinking the coffee but all the web pages still look the same to me...so how does having java and cookies supposed to help?
